A Thief River Falls area woman has been appointed to the Metropolitan Airports Commission.
Governor Tim Walz announced Friday the appointments of Rick King, Carl Crimmins, Rodney Skoog, Yodit Bizen, and Dixie Hoard to the Metropolitan Airports Commission. According to a release from the Governor’s office, Hoard is a realtor in the Thief River Falls area and serves on the commission’s Operations, Finance, and Administration Committee. She previously worked as a flight attendant for nearly 30 years for Northwest Orient Airlines, Northwest Airlines, and later Delta Airlines, where she was based out of MSP Airport.
The five appointees will serve terms that expire on January 2nd, 2023.
The Metropolitan Airports Commission owns and operates the Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport and six smaller general aviation airports within the metro area.
