The Pennington County Board of Commissioners has approved a motion creating a second supervisor position for the Human Services Department.
Former Human Services Director Ken Yutrzenka asked the board to approve the motion last week. He says implementation of a second supervisor will be a great benefit for the County, saying the Human Services Department will be able to better manage the departments programs.
It was one of his last requests to the County Board. Ken has retired from the Director position following a 40 year career. Julie Sjostrand, is taking over for Yutrzenka.
She took her new position Monday.
