A new hire and a letter of resignation were approved by Pennington County Commissioners at their regular meeting Tuesday in downtown Thief River Falls.
According to Sheriff Ray Kuznia, the County Board accepted a letter of resignation from Luke Molitor, who has taken a position with Clearwater County. The board also approved the hire of part time corrections officer Gracie Hannon, following a successful background check.
In other Sheriff’s Department news, the board authorized the purchase of 2 new tasers.
The sheriff says deputies conducted taser training exercises Tuesday.
