All women’s volleyball captains and players interested in having a volleyball team on Tuesday or Thursday nights for the 2019-2020 season are invited to attend an organizational meeting on Thursday, August 29th at 7pm in the back room of the Black Cat. You can run in the Digi-Key Cares Digi-Dash 3K/5K/10K Run on Saturday, September 14th. The entry fee is $20 if you’re pre-registered before August 28th or $25 on the day of the race. Kids under 10 are free and the family max is $50. Registration on the day is at 8am in the Digi-Key west parking lot. New this year is the pre-race Stretch with Rehab Authority and Cross Fit Great North at 8:25am.
The 11th Annual NCH Trails to Treatment Cancer Benefit and Ride will be held on Friday & Saturday, August 30th & 31st in Middle River. This event will be dedicated to the memory of Barb Geer, TTT Committee member from 2013-2019. Events will start at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 30, and at 8:00 am on Saturday, August 31. The Fall 2019 TRF High School Clay Target Registration is now open to FMS and LHS students in grades 6-12 who have successfully completed the Hunter Firearm Safety Program and have a Minnesota State Approved Firearm Safety Certificate. The summer schedule for distribution at the Thief River Falls Food Shelf is every Tuesday from 10:30am-1:30pm and every Thursday from 3pm-6pm at the Food Shelf Building, located at 16330 150th St. NE (go south on Hwy 59 past the movie theater and turn left onto Hwy 61/150th St.. it is the green building/2nd drive on the left). Please bring your own boxes.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that meets every Tuesday night at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls. This program is for anyone who is dealing with life’s hurts, habits or hang-ups. The night starts at 6pm with a free meal followed by worship with a teaching or testimony.
