Two people were injured in a single vehicle roll-over accident yesterday in Polk County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Megan Lavonne Irby, 36, of Grand Forks lost control of the 2003 Chevrolet Suburban she was driving on a wet Eastbound Highway 2 at Mile Marker 105, in Huntsville Township.
According to the State Patrol report, Irby, and a passenger Kevin Irby, 28 of Grand Forks, were taken to Altru Grand Forks and treated for injuries troopers at the scene describe as non-life threatening. Four others in the vehicle, including three small children suffered no apparent injury.
All were properly restrained at the time of the accident, reported just after 6PM.
Officials say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
