Multiple law enforcement agencies are planning a Click It or Ticket campaign next week.
Shannon Grabow with the Office of Traffic Safety reminds parents, and care givers to also use proper child restraints. That means making sure the child is in the right size car seat.
The Minnesota Department of Public Safety says there has been a 17-percent decrease in traffic deaths in the five years since the state made it a primary offense to not wear a seat-belt.
The enhanced seat-belt enforcement effort runs from September 16th through 28th.
