Polk County Sheriff’s Office Partners with Schools For Active Shooter Situation Training

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has partnered with the Win-E-Mac and Fertile-Beltrami Schools to train faculty in ALICE.

Sheriff’s officials say ALICE is a response to an active intruder situation. Both Schools and the Sheriff’s Office have certified ALICE instructors.

The Sheriff’s Office expressed excitement on social media yesterday about the training partnership with the schools.
