A teenager was injured in a motorcycle accident over the weekend in Clay County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the 17 year old male was injured when the eastbound 2001 Suzi RC he was driving rear-ended a 2018 Nissan Rogue on Interstate 94 near the Red River scale in Moorhead.
Though there is no word on the boy’s condition, officials say he was taken to Essentia Health Care Facility. Road conditions were listed as dry and he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident just before 4PM.
Officials say the driver of the Nissan had not been consuming alcohol prior to the accident.
