Sexual Enhancement Supplement Recalled After Being Found To Be Tainted With Prescription Drug.
According to the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, Fitoterapia USA Incorporated has issued the nationwide Recall of Mero Macho artificial passion fruit flavored Vitamin C supplement after the product was found product to be tainted with Tadalafil, an active ingredient in a FDA-approved prescription drug.
The tainted product is marketed as a liquid dietary supplement for sexual enhancement and is packaged in an 8.5 fluid ounce bottle with expiration date April, 27th, 2020. Fitoterapia is arranging for return of all recalled products.
Consumers, distributors, and retailers that have the recalled product should stop using it.
The affected supplement lots include the following, LOT: ZD-160-18, LOT: ZD-078-19, LOT: ZD-159-17.
