St. John Lutheran School is having a September Supper Fundraiser from 4:30pm-7pm on Thursday, September 19th at St. John Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls.  The menu includes meatballs, mashed potatoes, vegetable, dinner roll and dessert.  A Free Will Offering will be taken in support of St. John Lutheran School, with a suggested donation of $8 per plate.

It’s the Oak Ridge Annual Fall Bazaar on Saturday, September 21st from 9am-2pm; lunch, bars and coffee will be served all day.  Items include quilts, baked goods, garden produce, crafts and misc. items.  Oak Ridge is located 7 miles west on Hwy. 1 and 1 mile north.

Trash the Dress for MDS on Saturday, September 21st at Broadway Station in St. Hilaire.  Breakfast and registration from 9-10:30am start the day, followed by a group photo, the line-up and wheels rolling at 11am.  They will have a silent auction all day, with a live auction from 6-7pm.  The cost is $20 per driver and $10 per rider, and includes the ride, dinner, door prizes and music.  All proceeds go to Trails to Treatment and the MDS Foundation.  For more information contact Shelly at 686-5827.

The Goodridge High School graduates of the classes of 1950-1953 are gathering on Saturday, September 21st at the VFW in Thief River Falls.  They will meet at 2pm to reminisce for the afternoon and evening.  Friends and classmates are invited to join them for comradeship and memories. Distribution at the Thief River Falls Food Shelf is every Tuesday from 1-6pm and every Thursday from 11am-4:30pm at the Food Shelf Building, located at 16330 150th St. NE (go south on Hwy 59 past the movie theater and turn left onto Hwy 61/150th St.. it is the green building/2nd drive on the left).  Please bring your own boxes.

The Middle River Farmer’s Market, located at the picnic shelter on Main Street, is open Friday afternoons, through September 27th, from 2-5pm, featuring plants, baked goods, jellies, fruits and vegetables, farm fresh eggs, fancy work and garden décor.  For questions contact Debbie at 222-3540 or Emily at 222-3556, and you can also find them on Facebook.

The TRF Farmer’s Market is open on Saturdays in the Floyd B. Olson/Gazebo Park from 9am-noon through September 28th.  You’ll find vegetables, baked/canned goods, jellies and jams, honey, potted plants, tea, salsa, crafts and so much more!
