An Akeley area man injured, and alcohol appears to be a factor, following a single vehicle roll-over accident Saturday in Hubbard County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, James Arnold Cogsdell, 54, was injured when the eastbound 2005 Buick Rendezvous he was driving entered the right ditch, struck an approach, and rolled on Highway 34 at 315th Avenue east of Akeley. Cogsdell was taken to Park Rapids hospital and treated for injuries troopers at the scene describe as non-life threatening.
Road conditions were listed as dry and Cogsdell was not wearing a seat-belt at the time of the accident reported just before 6AM Saturday.
According to the State Patrol report, Cogsdell has been consuming alcohol prior to the accident.
