Pennington County Turns Down Offer To Lease Lot South of the Justice Center

Pennington County has turned down an offer to lease the dirt lot south of the Justice Center.

The Pennington County Board of Commissioners made the decision not to lease the lot for $500 per month, when they met in regular session at the Justice Center yesterday in downtown Thief River Falls. According to County Attorney Seamus Duffy, only members of the public have been using the lot when visiting the Justice Center. He says County Employees have been instructed not to park in the lot.

The lot in question is owned by Dean Foods, who left town last year when the company ended operations in Thief River Falls.
