Widespread flooding continues in the listening area, including the Red River and its tributaries.
The Red River at East Grand Forks is forecast to hit 41-and-a-half feet tomorrow, which is considered moderate flood stage. It’s expected to hit major flood stage tomorrow in Oslo at 36 feet. Flood warnings were issued over the weekend for the Wild Rice River, Two Rivers River, the Snake River, and Roseau River. Officials with the Red Lake Watershed District planned last week to release water from the Moose River Impoundment, upstream of Grygla.
