Randy Avery Lee was born in Thief River Falls on September 11, 1956 to the late Avery and Doris (Nelson) Lee. He attended school in Newfolden and worked in the Newfolden area for several years and was later united in marriage on July 10, 1976 to Mana Westerlund and together have two sons, Michael and Shawn. He enjoyed going to the races and working as part of the pit crew. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, snowmobiling and spending time with his family. Most of his life was spent living in Middle River and he worked a variety of labor jobs that include construction, concrete and driving truck. Randy passed away unexpectedly at Sanford Hospital in Thief River Falls on October 13, 2019 at the age of 63 years, 1 month and 2 days.
He is survived by his spouse, Mana Lee of Middle River; Two sons, Michael of Grand Forks and Shawn (Havie) Lee of Thief River Falls; Six grandchildren, Bjorn Carlson, Mathias Carlson, McKenzie Lee, Jonah Lee, Clarabelle Lee and Henry Lee; Three siblings, Harold (Diane) Lee, Jeffrey (Debra) Lee and Brent (Cynthia) Lee; Mother-in-law Delores Westerlund; as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Avery and Doris Lee; Grandparents, Hjelmar and Alma Lee, Chester and Clara Nelson; and Father-in-law, Ray Westurlund.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM, October 26, 2019 at First Lutheran Church in Middle River, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

Interment will be at Opdahl Cemetery in Newfolden.
