Everyone is invited to attend the Tri-Community-Living at Home/Block Nurse program’s 20th Year Celebration on Tuesday, October 29th at 5:00 pm at the Newfolden Community Center.  The evenings activities include a banquet, followed by a program, entertainment, and prizes.

There will be a “Howl-o-ween” Party from 4:30pm-6:30pm on Thursday, October 31st at Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls.  Donations to the Humane Society will be accepted in lieu of the fee for gaming and prizes.  Suggested items to donate are Iam’s Cat Food, Pedigree Dog Food, Kong dog toys, cat litter, Dawn dish soap, laundry detergent, Windex and packs of paper towels.  Activities for the evening include indoor trick or treating, and games and prizes at $5 per family; food, drinks and concessions will be available.

Trick or Treating will be available at Oakland Park Communities in Thief River Falls from 5pm-6:30pm on Halloween night.

It’s the Harvest Festival Fun Night on Thursday, October 31st from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the Community Church International in Thief River Falls, located on Hwy 1 east-1 mile east of the college.  You’ll find games, inflatables, door prizes and a lot of fun for the whole family.  This event is free for everyone in the community.

The Holiday Art, Craft & Vendor Sale will be held on Saturday, November 2nd at the TRF Eagles Club; this event is free with a donation of a personal hygiene product to the food shelf or a $1 cash donation, this includes entry into the vendor and artist donated door prize drawing.  You’ll find numerous vendors and items, holiday ornaments, and many decorating and gift ideas.  Lunch will be served by the Pennington County Historical Society.

The Elevate NextGen Youth Center in Thief River Falls is open daily after school from 3pm-6pm.  It is open to all students in grades 6-12, providing a safe environment, tutoring and other programs.  Games, internet access and helpful adults will be there for all students; located at 411 North Horace Avenue in Thief River Falls.

Distribution at the Thief River Falls Food Shelf is every Tuesday from 1-6pm and every Thursday from 11am-4:30pm at the Food Shelf Building, located at 16330 150th St. NE (go south on Hwy 59 past the movie theater and turn left onto Hwy 61/150th St. it is the green building/2nd drive on the left).  Please bring your own boxes.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that meets every Tuesday night at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls.  This program is for anyone who is dealing with life’s hurts, habits or hang-ups.  The night starts at 6pm with a free meal followed by worship with a teaching or testimony.  Nursery is provided, as well as a celebration place for elementary aged children.
