Davidson Construction and Northwest Electric will complete traffic signal installation at First Street and Pennington Avenue on Monday, November 18th. There will be a three-way stop set-up on Monday so the old traffic signal system can be removed, and the new system placed in service.
St. John Lutheran School is hosting a Fall Dinner and Lefse Sale from 4:30pm to 7pm on Thursday, November 21st at St. John Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. The menu includes turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, all the trimmings, and dessert. A free will offering will be taken in support of the school. Fresh lefse will be sold hot off the griddle in addition to pre-made packages that will be sold during the dinner.
The St. Hilaire Lion’s Club is holding “A Day of Community Service” at the Community Center in St. Hilaire on Friday, November 22nd from 1:30pm to 6pm. The Rindahl Lutheran Church’s Fall Supper will be held on Saturday, November 23rd from 4:30-7:30pm at the Viking Elementary School in Viking. They will be serving hot pork sandwich, mashed potatoes and gravy, a vegetable side, and an apple crisp or pumpkin dessert. Admission is a free will offering; activities include a silent auction, a log cabin quilt raffle and live music by the Rindahl Sunday School.

The Northwest Minnesota Arts Council is pleased to announce an exhibition of painted portraits, stories, and mixed media by Christine Foster and a jingle dress-inspired sculpture by Stephanie Olson. The exhibition is now open through November 30th at the gallery at Northland College in Thief River Falls.
The Elevate NextGen Youth Center in Thief River Falls is open daily after school from 3pm-6pm. It is open to all students in grades 6-12, providing a safe environment, tutoring and other programs.
