The garbage bag hand-out for city residents who are renters and DON’T have access to a dumpster will be held from Monday, December 2nd through Friday, November 6th at the Public Works Facility from 7am-5pm each day.
Distribution at the Thief River Falls Food Shelf is every Tuesday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and every Thursday from 3:00-6:00 pm at the Food Shelf Building, located at 16330 150th St. NE (go south on Hwy 59 past the movie theater and turn left onto Hwy 61/150th St. it is the green building/2nd drive on the left). Please bring your own boxes.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that meets every Tuesday night at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls. This program is for anyone who is dealing with life’s hurts, habits or hang-ups. The night starts at 6pm with a free meal followed by worship with a teaching or testimony. The Northwest Minnesota Arts Council is pleased to announce an exhibition of painted portraits, stories, and mixed media by Christine Foster and a jingle dress-inspired sculpture by Stephanie Olson. The exhibition is now open through November 30th at the gallery at Northland College in Thief River Falls.
The Elevate NextGen Youth Center in Thief River Falls is open daily after school from 3pm-6pm. It is open to all students in grades 6-12, providing a safe environment, tutoring and other programs. Games, internet access and helpful adults will be there for all students; located at 411 North Horace Avenue in Thief River Falls.
