Landlords, Farmers and Agri-business professionals should plan to attend one of the free, informative meetings on rental agreements sponsored by the University of Minnesota Extension Service. These meetings cover negotiating a farmers largest input cost-land rent.
Negotiating a fair rental agreement that satisfies the land owner and the farmer is a challenge. Nathan Hulinsky, Ag Business Management educator, will provide several ways to determine a fair farmland rental rate for both parties.
The Extension service in Thief River Falls will be held on Wednesday, December 18th in the basement meeting room in the old courthouse from 9:30 to 11:30 am. There is no cost to attend. If you plan to attend, please contact Cindi Kilen at the Pennington County Extension Service at 218-683-7030.
