The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will stop in more than two-dozen Minnesota towns on its annual ride throughout the northern U.S., with live entertainment in exchange for donations to the local food banks. The train will be in Minnesota from Dec. 5-14th.
The train is about 1,000 feet in length with 14 decorated rail cars. Each car is decorated with hundreds of thousands of LED lights and holiday designs celebrating the spirit of the giving season.
Visitors can enjoy free musical performances at each stop, and your food or cash donations will benefit the local community.
On Friday, December 13th, the Holiday Train will be in Detroit Lakes at 2:30pm, Mahnomen at 4:20pm, Plummer at 6pm and Thief River Falls at 7:30pm
