The Vikes grabbed the sixth seed in the NFC and would visit San Francisco in the Divisional Round with a win. The other wild card game features Seattle and Philadelphia. (Canton, OH) — The finalists for the 2020 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class are now public. First-year finalists include former Steelers safety Troy Polamalu, and former Colts receiver Reggie Wayne. Former Minnesota Vikings lineman Steve Hutchinson is also in the running. The Class of 2020 will be announced February 1st, the night before the Super Bowl in Miami. The inductees will be enshrined in Canton, Ohio in August.

(West Lafayette, IN) — The Golden Gophers’ three-game winning streak is over after an 83-78 double-overtime setback at Purdue. Daniel Oturu racked up 29 points and 18 rebounds for Minnesota, which fell to 7-and-6 overall and 1-and-2 in Big Ten play. The Gophers host Northwestern tomorrow.
