(Memphis, TN) — The Grizzlies outscored the Timberwolves by nine in the fourth quarter as they rallied for a 119-112 win in Memphis. Jarrett Culver netted 24 points and Jeff Teague tallied 18 off the bench for Minnesota, which had won its previous two. The Wolves return home to host Portland tomorrow.

(Eagan, MN) — The Vikings continue to prepare for Saturday’s NFC Divisional Round showdown with the 49ers in Santa Clara. The Vikes stunned the Saints in the wild card round to advance. The Niners are the number-one seed in the NFC after finishing 13-and-3. Seattle visits Green Bay in the other NFC divisional game.
(Eagan, MN) — Vikings cornerback Mackensie Alexander is out for Saturday’s game against the 49ers after undergoing knee surgery. The “Star Tribune” reports Alexander had the procedure to repair a torn meniscus. Alexander recorded an interception and five pass breakups over 13 games with the Vikes this season.
(East Lansing, MI) — The Golden Gophers are headed to Michigan to square off with the eighth-ranked Spartans tomorrow night in East Lansing. Minnesota will then return home to host 19th-ranked Michigan on Sunday. The Gophers split their games last week and sit at 8-and-6 overall including 2-and-2 in Big Ten play.
