Fellow wide out Stefon Diggs missed his second straight day due to an illness but should be ready to go on Saturday. Head coach Mike Zimmer said Diggs is just sick and he will be fine.

(Minneapolis, MN) — Minnesota safety Antoine Winfield Jr. is forgoing his final two years of eligibility and will enter the 2020 NFL Draft. Winfield made the announcement on Instagram. Winfield led the Gophers with 88 total tackles and 62 solo this season. He helped Minnesota to its most wins since 1904 after going 11-and-2.

The Fighting Hawks had their two-game winning streak snapped and fell to 8-and-9 on the season including 2-and-1 in Summit League play. UND will travel to Oral Roberts for its next game on Saturday. North Dakota State is back in action tonight at Oral Roberts. The Bison are 11-and-5 and 2-and-0.
