Tri-Community Living at home is sponsoring Senior Club, followed by bingo, at 12:30pm on Wednesday, January 15th at the Newfolden Center.  On Thursday, January 16th they will have bingo at 1pm at the Viking Diner.

St. John Lutheran School is having a January Supper Fundraiser from 4:30pm to 7pm on Thursday, January 16th at St. John Lutheran Church.  The menu includes oven fried chicken, potatoes, vegetable and dinner roll.  A free will offering will be taken in support of the school, with a suggested donation of $8 per plate.

The Thief River Falls ECFE is sponsoring “Family Gym Time” on Thursday, January 16th from 6pm-7:30pm at the Challenger Elementary Gyms.  It’s a good way for your children to use up extra energy and have fun with friends.  This event is for children ages birth to Kindergarten enrollment age, parents must accompany children.  Free will donations accepted at door.

Enjoy an afternoon of fellowship and fun at noon on Tuesday, January 21st at the American Legion in Thief River Falls. Come and hear Kyle Jorgenson as he talks about bees and the benefits of honey.  Judy Melby, from Thief River Falls, will share her story and Erica Hanson, from Thief River Falls, will bring her musical talents. The cost is $9.00; for reservations or cancelations call Carmen at 681-3091.  Reservations are appreciated by Thursday, January 16th, call by Monday noon; sponsored by the Thief River Falls Christian Women’s Clubs/Stonecroft Ministries.

There will be a Broadway Cabaret Fundraiser for the Thief River Falls Area Community Theater on Friday, January 17th at 8pm at the River Walk Public House in Thief River Falls.  They’ll have live entertainment, Hors d’oeuvres, signature drinks, games of chance and more.  Tickets are $50 and are available at the Riverwalk and at www.trfact.org.  Come and support your local theater!

The MCC Education Foundation and the MCC Fine Arts Department present “Dinner with Performing Arts” on Saturday, January 18th at the MCC High School Gym.  This fundraiser event will have music by vocal and instrumental performers, the One-Act Play and a catered meal; prelude begins at 5:45pm.  The price is $25, with advance ticket sales only; tickets are available at the MCC High School office or Marshall County State Bank.

The Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan is coming to Thief River Falls on Monday, January 20th from 2:15-3:15pm at the National Guard Armory.  This event is FREE and open to the public!

Distribution at the Thief River Falls Food Shelf is every Tuesday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and every Thursday from 3:00-6:00 pm at the Food Shelf Building, located at 16330 150th St. NE (go south on Hwy 59 past the movie theater and turn left onto Hwy 61/150th St. it is the green building/2nd drive on the left).  Please bring your own boxes.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that meets every Tuesday night at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls.  This program is for anyone who is dealing with life’s hurts, habits or hang-ups.  The night starts at 6pm with a free meal followed by worship with a teaching or testimony.  Nursery is provided, as well as a celebration place for elementary aged children.
