The Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan is coming to Thief River Falls on Monday, January 20th from 2:15-3:15pm at the National Guard Armory.  This event is FREE and open to the public!

Tri-Community Living at Home will have Cards and Games on Wednesday, January 22nd at 1pm at the Newfolden Center.

The Thief River Falls ECFE is hosting a “Winter Family Fun Night” on Thursday, January 23rd from 5-7pm at Challenger Elementary Preschool.  Join them for winter-themed activities that include snowmen, snow, winter animals, and a wintery snack.  This event is for families with children ages 5 years and younger; free will donations will be accepted at the door.

Open Arms Christian Fellowship of Thief River Falls is sponsoring the 4-part series, “The Final Empire”, featuring international speaker Shawn Boonstra.  This series will be presented Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, January 23rd through the 25th at 7pm each night, with an additional program on Saturday at 4:30pm.  There will be FREE admission, including FREE childcare for children ages birth to 8.  Refreshments will be served following each hour-long session, and a meal will be served between the 4:30pm and 7pm sessions on Saturday.

The Knights of Columbus Annual Free Throw Contest will be held at the Red Lake Falls High School Gym on Sunday, January 26th.  This event is for any boys or girls ages 9-14, with separate categories for girls and boys and separate categories for each age group.  Winners will receive a trophy and will advance to district competition.  Practice time will be from 12:30-1pm that day, with competition beginning at 1pm.  Entry forms can be picked up at the offices at Plummer Elementary, RLCC High School in Oklee, Hughes Elementary and Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls, or from Steve Philion at 253-2499.

Distribution at the Thief River Falls Food Shelf is every Tuesday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and every Thursday from 3:00-6:00 pm at the Food Shelf Building, located at 16330 150th St. NE (go south on Hwy 59 past the movie theater and turn left onto Hwy 61/150th St. it is the green building/2nd drive on the left).  Please bring your own boxes.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that meets every Tuesday night at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls.  This program is for anyone who is dealing with life’s hurts, habits or hang-ups.  The night starts at 6pm with a free meal followed by worship with a teaching or testimony.  Nursery is provided, as well as a celebration place for elementary aged children.
