A Waseca police officer who was shot in the head four weeks ago is now out of a Twin Cities hospital’s intensive care unit.  Officer Arik Matson’s sister-in-law recently posted on a CaringBridge website that the patrolman left North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale and spent the weekend in an undisclosed acute care facility for long-term care.  Meanwhile, Tyler Janovsky, who is accused of shooting the officer, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder.  He is scheduled to return to court tomorrow afternoon for a bail hearing.
