The USXC Goodridge-Grygla 500 is Saturday and Sunday, February 8th and 9th.  There will be a Vintage Snowmobile Show on Saturday, with the 286 Snow Series Kid’s Races both days.  Racing starts each day at 10am out of Goodridge.

Due to ice conditions the Annual Knights of Columbus Fishing Derby will be held at St. Bernard’s this Sunday, February 9th from 1-3pm.  There will be bingo, kids’ games and raffle for an ice auger.  All cash prizes will be awarded at 3pm, you need not be present to win.  Any questions, call Bob at 218-686-0245.

A hockey tradition continues with the “Battle of Brooks Avenue”, featuring Arctic Cat vs. Digi-Key, on Wednesday, February 12th at 6pm at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls.  Concessions will be open; there will be Chuck-a-Puck and a Free Will Donation, with all proceeds distributed to local charities through Digi-Key Cares.  Door prizes will be awarded and include Digi-Key, Arctic Cat, Norskie, and Zane McIntyre gear.

The TRF Area Community Theater presents a Valentine’s Dinner Theater, “Last of the Red-Hot Lover’s”, on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, February 12th-14th at the Eagles Club in Thief River Falls.  Tickets are $25 each and include the show, a taco bar and dessert.  Tickets are available at Digi-Key or at

Depot Tacos 2020, Saturday, February 15 at the Middle River American Legion, serving from 4:30 – 8:00 pm.  Taco & Beverage $8, Elephant ear $3.  Drawings will be held for many prizes in the Valentine Raffle beginning at 7:30 pm.  Lucky Duck Drawings throughout the evening provided by Central Boiler and Middle River Community Theater Board Members.  Proceeds got to Ye Olde Depot Theatre improvement fund. NOTE: TACOS ARE FRIED IN PEANUT OIL.The museum in Greenbush presents the 10th Annual Sweet Sixteen Snowmobile Show on Saturday, February 15th.  Free registration starts at 9am with the show running from 10am-2pm, held on the south end of Main Street.  Activities include awarding of door prizes and trophies, lunch, trail rides, and games.  For more information call Jared at 218-689-3314.
