An Arctic cold front will begin to drop into the region early Wednesday morning. The system is expected to bring pretty light snow amounts, but the main impacts will be from winds in addition to falling snow. As the front comes through, there will be a 1 to 2 hour period of possible blizzard conditions from falling snow and high winds. The snow will end and the winds will decrease a bit after the front goes through, bringing some lingering blowing snow although not as bad as with the front in the morning. There is still some uncertainty as to exact timing, but at this point morning looks worse than the afternoon.
