(Edmonton, Alberta) — The Wild are in Edmonton to skate against the Oilers tonight. Minnesota opened its brief two-game trek with a 4-3 shootout win in Vancouver on Wednesday. The Wild sit at 28-24-and-7, currently five points out of a wild card spot with 63 points. The Oilers lead the Pacific Division with 71 points.

(Fort Myers, FL) — The Twins will face the Minnesota Golden Gophers tonight in an exhibition game in Fort Myers. The Twins will then open up Grapefruit League action tomorrow against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The regular-season starts March 26th.

(New York, NY) — NFL owners are approving terms of a potential new Collective Bargaining Agreement. All 32 voted during a meeting yesterday in New York, but the players must still approve it. ESPN previously reported the changes would include a 17-game regular-season, a three-game preseason and an expanded playoff format.

(Evanston, IL) — The Golden Gophers hit the road to Northwestern on Sunday to play the Wildcats. Minnesota has dropped three in-a-row after Wednesday’s 68-56 home setback to Indiana. The Gophers sit at 12-and-13 on the season and 6-and-9 in Big Ten play.

(Grand Forks, ND) — North Dakota State takes its seven-game winning streak to Grand Forks to face rival North Dakota tomorrow night. The Bison kept the streak alive with a 77-74 win at South Dakota on Wednesday. NDSU sits at 20-and-7 on the season and 11-and-2 in Summit League action. The Fighting Hawks are 12-and-15 and 6-and-7.
