National Weather Service says today will be mild with highs well into the 30s, flirting with low 40s. The chance for scattered showers of snow, wintry mix, and rain increases this afternoon and evening. Even a few rumbles of thunder will be possible. Snow accumulation will be light, generally under 1 inch. However even light amounts of wintry precipitation can cause travel impacts. Windy conditions develop early Thursday. Winds will be out of the northwest 20-35 mph gusting higher than 45 mph, highest in southeast North Dakota. Scattered light snow showers will also be possible Thursday.
