The Pennington County Humane Society will hold their annual meeting on Tuesday, March 10th at 6pm in the TRF Public Library Meeting Room.  Members and the public are invited to attend.

Enjoy an afternoon of fellowship and fun at noon on Tuesday, March 17th at the American Legion in Thief River Falls. Come and hear Marge Coan who will be talking about “Keeping Goodridge’s History Alive”.  Darleen Hulteen will share her personal journey and Byron and Peggy Staie will bring their musical talents. The TRFACT Fundraiser, “Broadway Cabaret”, has been rescheduled for Friday, March 13th at the Riverwalk.  You’ll find an evening of LIVE music, games of chance, food, drinks, and FUN…all for a great cause.  Tickets available at the Riverwalk in TRF or on-line at www.brownpapertickets.org.

The Pennington County Humane Society presents the 15th Annual “Woofstock 2020” Benefit on Saturday, March 14th from 11am-2pm at the TRF Eagle’s Club.  Activities include a freewill burger lunch, a silent auction, bake sale, face painting, balloon animals and pictures with mascots.  To donate baked goods and silent auction items contact Sheila at 686-7039.  All proceeds go directly to care of shelter pets.

Trails for Treatment is having a Freewill Offering Musical Fundraiser at 2pm on Sunday, March 15th at the Presbyterian Church in Red Lake Falls.  Join them for a fun-filled afternoon of music and fellowship.  Coffee and bars will be served; hosted by the Retired Flaming Flamingos.

The Battle of Brooks Avenue 9 hockey game, Arctic Cat vs Digi Key, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 17th at 6 pm at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in TRF.  Admission is free-will, and activities include concessions, door prizes, and a chuck-a-puck.  All proceeds will go to Digi-Key Cares charities.

Distribution at the Thief River Falls Food Shelf is every Tuesday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and every Thursday from 3:00-6:00 pm at the Food Shelf Building, located at 16330 150th St. NE (go south on Hwy 59 past the movie theater and turn left onto Hwy 61/150th St. it is the green building/2nd drive on the left).  Please bring your own boxes.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program that meets every Tuesday night at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls.  This program is for anyone who is dealing with life’s hurts, habits or hang-ups.  The night starts at 6pm with a free meal followed by worship with a teaching or testimony.  Nursery is provided, as well as a celebration place for elementary aged children. TRF Summer Baseball Registration is open for the summer of 2020.  All players from 7-8 years old to 16-18 years old are welcome to register for the upcoming season with the Thief River Falls Baseball Association.  Go to prowlerbaseball.org to register.
