COVID-19 Update


Total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Minnesota increased by  62 since Saturday to 503 today (3-29-2020) as reported by the Minnesota Department of Health. 1528 additional tests were completed from Saturday for a total of 17, 657. These include tests from both the Minnesota Department of Public Health Lab and other outside laboratories.

There have now been nine deaths in Minnesota due to the COVID-19 pandemic, an increase of four since Saturday. The death of a person in their eighties was reported March 19th and a second was included on  the March 26th report. Two more people died as of Friday (3-27-2020)one on Saturday and four more today (3-29-2020.) Of the 503 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 75 required hospitalization, 39 are still hospitalized today and 252 no longer need to be isolated. 

There was one case confirmed in Beltrami on Wednesday, one in Mahnomen County on Thursday and one in Clearwater County reported Saturday (3-28-2020.)There are still no confirmed reports in Pennington as of Today.(3-29-2020)  COVID-19 Hotlines:
