One of the constants in farming has been the need for hired help. Years ago, there was a lot of labor involved in farming however there were many people who wanted to do the work. Many farm processes are now mechanized however there is typically a much smaller pool of workers. We asked area farmer Gabe Carlson what has been his experience in finding people to help on the farm.
Maybe social distancing and working outdoors makes farm employment even more attractive?
Today was our final installment of our interview with Gabe Carlson. We’d like to thank him for his time and for doing the work that helps keep us fed.
