Initially near severe thunderstorms will be possible in the afternoon, but the severe threat will increase through 4PM across northeast ND. Activity will eventually more in to one or several complexes that will move southeast in ND and eventually into MN. Severe storms will be capable of hail to 2 inches, winds to 75 mph, and tornadoes will be possible. Thunderstorm activity is producing heavy rain rates and localized flooding is likely where slower moving storms track.

Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 7pm. Some of the storms could be severe and produce heavy rainfall. Low around 57. North northwest wind 6 to 11 mph becoming west southwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
