The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a personal injury accident yesterday (7-31-2020) afternoon at 4:33. The accident, which occurred at County Road 9 and Highway 220 about 6 miles west of Fisher, involved two vehicles and resulted in injury.
A Ford F150, driven by Matthew Steven Kilbourn-age 19- was driving East on Polk County Road 9 at Highway 220. The Ford F150 failed to yield at the intersection and rear ended a Buick Enclave, driven by Paulette Kringle-age 63- at Highway Speeds. Kringle and her two passengers, Jane Aahkus-age 66-and Kimberly Bjerke-age 56- were transported to Altru Hospital with non life-threatening injuries and had all been wearing seat belts.
The driver of the F-150, Matthew Kilbourn- was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Altru with non life-threatening injuries. The report did not include residences for anyone. The State Patrol was assisted on scene by Polk County.
