Severe storms possible later this afternoon and evening with an isolated threat for winds up 60 mph and hail around the size of quarters.

 

Look for increasing clouds this morning with thunderstorm chances beginning towards midday. Thunderstorms will then work from northwest to southeast across the area through the day and into the evening and overnight hours. Widespread severe weather is not likely, however, isolated strong to severe thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. For tonight, ongoing showers and embedded thunderstorms continue working eastward through Saturday morning, with gradual clearing expected thereafter.
