Marguerite Jadeke, 88, of rural Warren, MN, passed away on Thursday morning, October 1, 2020 at Minnesota Greenleaf in Thief River Falls, MN.
Marie Marguerite Troska was born on July 16, 1932 in Marshall County, MN, the daughter of Sullivan and Lillie (Kurowski) Troska. She attended country school and Crookston AC. After her schooling, Marguerite worked at the Warren Hospital for several years. On April 4, 1959, she was united in marriage to Edward Jadeke at Thief River Falls, MN. They made their home in Brislet Township where they farmed. Edward died on July 14, 2005.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting, doing ceramics, sewing and baking. Marguerite was known for her bread and flatbread. She was a hardworking farm wife who was willing to help out on the farm and she made sure that everyone was well fed. The coffee pot was always on and she made sure that there were cookies and bars for when people would stop over. Her family was very important to her, especially her grandchildren who she loved dearly.
Marguerite was always helping take care of people in the community. Whether it was making sure they had something to eat, needed a helping hand or just someone to visit with, she was available. She was a caretaker at heart.
