Thursday, local law enforcement responded to two separate motor vehicle accidents. The first accident occurred at Center Street and 420th Avenue Southeast. The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident and found a 2008 GMC Sierra, driven by Colleen Erickson-age 50- of Red Lake, was eastbound on Center Street when the driver lost control and rolled into a ditch. Erickson reported no injuries however was cited for No Insurance.
Later on Thursday after at 3:17, Thief River Falls Police officers responded to an accident at just east of Highway 59 on 150th Street Northeast.. A GMC Sierra, driven by Ferse Basargin of Lengby, was parked facing south when aBuick Rendezvous, driven by Christine Christian of Thief River Falls, was traveling through the parking lot & accelerated, colliding into the building and then into the GMC Sierra. There were no injuries reported.
Friday morning at 10:43, Thief River Falls Police responded to a domestic at 1212 Centennial Drive. Officers arrested Chung Van Duong, age 38 of Thief River Falls who was cited for Domestic Assault. He is no longer in custody.
Later, Friday afternoon at 2:09, Thief River Falls Police responded to the report of a Burglary at 416 Main Avenue North. Officers arrived and found that someone had kicked in the door and took some items which had been left in the building.
