The Goodridge School District will shift to distance learning for kindergarten through 12th grade starting Monday, Nov. 30 with a planned return to in-person learning Monday, Dec. 14. This return will only be made with approval from public health and the school district’s regional support team. Preschool will remain in person for its normal schedule until further notice.
Buses will still operate for pre- school students with a modified bus. Superintendent Tom Loberg cited the amount of staff and students on quarantine and the lack of improve- ment in county numbers as the reason for the change, in a letter to district students and parents.. The Goodridge school district will be open for in-person learning for all students now through Monday, Nov. 23. Wednesday, Nov. 18 is scheduled to be a half-day for all students in preschool to 12th grade with school and buses dismissing at 12:30 p.m. The district will be closed for all students in preschool through 12th grade on Tuesday, Nov. 24 and Wednesday, Nov. 25 for planning days for teachers. Materials will be sent with students Monday, Nov. 23, and the district will make a materials delivery Wednesday, Nov. 25 if needed.
