Curt,
Thanks for the info, our trip was a great success. Friday was alittle
too cold to venture across the lake so we fished close to Pine Island,
we
moved shallow in the evening, the walleyes moved through heavy, at one
point my Dad quit putting his line in the water because he had 6
walleyes
flopping around in his Clam X2, that needed to be measured. We did get
up
to Garden Island and the fishing was hot, we came back with a mix of
jumbo
perch, saugers and walleyes, Sunday found us back at Garden fishing, it
was just as good until the storm blew in, then, the bite went really
light, we packed up at 3:00 and were heading back by 3:20 we got to the
cabin at 6:15, thank goodness for GPS the trail markers were too far
apart
to navigate by in the storm. Monday we fished until 11:00 over Pine,
bite
was good a mix of Walleyes and Saugers were caught again. I cannot say
enough about a Sutton spoon, they really seem to work, the fish would
ether hit the spoon or after coming in and checking it out would go for
the jig next to it, the highlite of the trip was catching, Jumbo perch
and
a 28.5" Walleye, on the sutton spoon.
Thanks again for the info it really helped out
Give my thanks to Justin for pulling my name out of the hat for the jigging spoons.
A fisherman can never have enough toys. Also my thanks to you for all the hard
work you do to produce a great program.
See you on the "rocks".

Curt,
Please enter me in
your scenic jigging spoon give-a-way. Thanks for the accurate and
timely fishing reports. I really enjoy the radio show. I will
definitely stop at Denny's this summer on my way to The Angle. I fish
off "the Birches" between Morris Point and Gracton Beach Road. Old ski-doo stop and say hey sometimes. Tight lines.
