One person was injured in an accident involving a tractor last night in Lyon County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Steven Allen Joramo, (65) of Litchfield was injured when the westbound 2017 Freightliner Semi he was driving collided with a westbound 1980 John Deere Tractor driven by Carter Allen Buchert, (19) of Russell. According to the report the John Deere was pulling a manure spreader, and was partially on the right shoulder of HWY 23 / HWY 91 in Coon Creek Township when it was struck just before 10pm.
Joramo was taken to Marshall Hospital and treated for injuries troopers at the scene described as non-life threatening. Buchert suffered no apparent injury.
Officials say alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
